A Wastewater Treatment Service Sales Engineer sells equipment, services, and solutions related to wastewater treatment plants—such as maintenance contracts, upgrades, chemicals, filtration systems, and automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales:
- Understand client requirements (industrial plants, municipalities, hotels, etc.)
- Recommend suitable treatment solutions (e.g., biological treatment, filtration, RO systems)
- Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates
Client Relationship Management:
- Meet clients, consultants, and contractors
- Maintain long-term relationships
- Handle negotiations and close deals
Site & System Evaluation:
- Visit wastewater treatment plants
- Analyze system performance and issues
- Suggest upgrades or service contracts
Coordination:
- Work with internal engineering teams for design and execution
- Coordinate with service/maintenance teams after sales
Market Development:
- Identify new business opportunities
- Track competitors and industry trends
