We are looking to hire a Process Engineer in Sharjah.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for tender review, analyze & manage submittals including but not limited to interpretation of client requirements & proposal of best solution, conceptual & detailed process design, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic calculation, civil and equipment layout drawings, power and chemical requirements, procurement, full cost estimation and life cycle cost analysis and other submittal documentation as required.
- Use of Simulation Software for RO and UF/MF Design and Projections. Mass balance development, Chemical and Power consumption Schedules operating cost estimation.
- Identify ongoing and future opportunities, trends, assess feasibility and liaise with client/end user at all stages to ensure successful outcome.
- Work closely with line manager and the engineering & project departments to develop technical process designs & solutions in line with the company standard & overall philosophy.
- Provide process commissioning assistance / review & site troubleshooting / assessment as required.
- Undertake, develop & perform Company reports, risk assessments & HAZOP as required.
- Build relationships with local suppliers and focus on key areas of the supply chain to ensure optimum information available as required during the bidding & project execution stage.
- Search and implement new technologies, processes & products partners to ensure optimal solutions & opportunities for the successful award.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required (Chemical, Process Engineering or Environmental Sciences).
- Minimum 3-5 Years of experience in process design engineering in the above-specified tasks, preferably in GCC.
SKILLS:
- Expert in all Water & Waste Water Treatment Processes with Technical Skills.
- Analysis, Data Interpretation & Identifying Project / Client Needs.
- Proven Work Experience In Process Engineering In Water Field.
- Sound Knowledge of Process Related Standards & Design Requirements.
- Experience in Process Simulations & Process Design.
- Working Knowledge of Process Engineering Software Packages.
- Tendering Costing & Budgeting Experience & Skills.
- Report Writing & Documentation Development.
- Risk Management & Mitigation.
