Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electromechanical Technician to join our wastewater treatment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment used in wastewater treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wastewater treatment equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, blowers, motors, gearboxes, valves, and dosing systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and control system faults.
- Install, test, and commission electromechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Monitor plant performance and report operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare service reports.
- Support plant operation teams during shutdowns and emergency maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in wastewater treatment, water treatment, or industrial plants.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, MCC panels, VFDs, PLC systems, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
